It is my delight to welcome you into the family of the Barbados Seventh-day Adventist Secondary School. This school was officially opened on September 21^st 1953 and is one of the leading Private denominational schools in Barbados.

 The school is operated and financed by the Seventh-day Adventist church and it seeks to provide an education that harmonizes the development of the spiritual, mental, social and physical being.

 Here at our school we set high Christian standards and we expect all members of our school family to work together. Remember that good conduct and a positive attitude to self, work and play are absolutely necessary if the goals we set are to be achieved.

 Rules are in place only to ensure that you can proceed with the serious business of learning in the safest of environments. If you know and practice what is required of you, I am sure that you will benefit from your schooling here. In addition you will not only achieve your goals but you will be able to speak of the Barbados Seventh-day Adventist Secondary School with pride and affection long after you have graduated.
